This isn’t how remakes are named. At all. The games don’t use adjectives to describe the original games names, they use a compound name.

>Heart Gold/Soul Silver
>Alpha Ruby/Omega Sapphire
The important thing is that these names all share a dichotomy between them, to contrast each other, while also standing on their own. The first half of a remakes name should be strong enough to stand as the name of its own generation.

>Pokémon Heart and Pokémon Soul
>Pokémon Alpha and Pokémon Omega
All of these sound like plausible names for a new generation of Pokémon games, if they weren’t already used obviously.

Also we are getting remakes because they give us a remake every even generation, with the obvious exception of Gen 3 when they started which was due to hardware comparability. Even gens get remakes, odd gens get split definitive versions.
