You don't realize that the reason you don't like the current pokemon designs is because you are not a kid anymore. Every single kid today feels the same admiration and coolness emanating from the current pokemon that you felt when looking at your faggot charizard or sceptile. You have outgrown pokemon, you fucking hate the current pokemon designs because obviously you are not a kid anymore and they are not designed to appeal to grow ups like you. You only try to cling to the feeling of admiration and coolness that you once felt looking at the pokemon of your childhood. What you feel for today's pokemon is what your parents felt when looking at venusaur or Swampert.
