Why does GameFreak seem intent on running this tour the world crap they've been peddling since Gen V? All the post-Sinnoh regions read like bad Japanese stereotypes of what real world areas look like, compared to the relative cultural depth of Sinnoh or Johto that came from actually documenting places a typical GameFreak employee could take a train ride to. There's still tons of areas left in Japan to regionalize like Chūgoku, Tōhoku, or the northern prefectures of Chūbu that didn't show up in Gen I/II. So why are we getting lame interpretations of Britain or Hawaii where the characters real like awful /int/ shitposts?
