Will you be murdered or cast out for being gay?
Is gay normal, have you met gay people before?
Are gay people social accepted? Are they being heavily represented?
Homosexuality won't pop up as much if a kid never knows it to be an option. Likewise even if they discover it, they arel likely to go closet with it if they don't understand or feel it would harm their well being.
On the other end if its heavily represented you might start getting kids who otherwise wouldn't be gay becoming because that was always an option or they thought it was a popular choice.
Homosexuality is somewhat approaching how it used to be in the days of Roman/Greek societies. A casual choice even manly men can partake in. But that was more about absolute tops or bottoms and women kinda didn't get that luxury as much.
