ITT: You wake up in the Pokemon World
TL;DR Pick 1-3 pokemon you could realistically train, plan out what you were dropped into the PokeWorld right now.
However, you are as you are right now. In boxers? too bad. You have much more to worry about. You're going to need some form of income, and a pokemon.. and probably a tent. Local scientists are saying that "your kind" have been showing up through some rifts in an Ultra Space Wormhole. They'll try to get your home, but there's no guarantees, so don't get your hopes up.
Luckily, you're not the first so there's a program put in place to get you settled in. You get 3 pokeballs, some protein bars, a tent and a backpack. There’s a deal at the PokeCenter to let you rent a room for free as long as you help out (you’d be an assistant janitor). Now this world isn’t exactly like the anime or games. Pokemon are a bit more vicious, for example if you go into a dragon type’s nest without proper preparation, you probably won’t make it back.
Now there is some good news! You landed in a town or city closest to where you lived IRL. You can obviously become a travelling pokemon trainer, but you can also get a job as whatever you were doing or studying before and can train a few pokemon, whatever fits your budget.
