Remove one of its type maybe? Pure water would mean it would get easily killed by the many grass types and losing water would make it a lot worse defensively in general

Taking away Poison is probably better than taking away Water. Toxapex is a lot easier to break if it can be poisoned, and it can't absorb Toxic Spikes anymore.
