I have a Sony Xperia XZ1.
It released in late 2017.
It has 4GB of RAM.

Tell me why the FUCK PoGo has to restart every fucking time I minimize it and open another app? How do I follow raiders on discord and meet up and follow them to locations using Google Maps, and occasionally get and answer text messages from people only to have to bring PoGo back up only to find that goddamn Niantic logo waiting for me again and again and again.

Motherfuck. Is there a way in Android to give an app like, TOP FUCKING PRIORITY so that it never restarts unless I physically turn it off?

Do I need to buy a goddamn phone with 12 godddamn GB of fucking RAM?

And don't fucking >sony >xperia anything
at me.

One third of the meta is charmers, one third is "I have fast move and big nuke, guess which I'm going to use!", and one third is "back to back wild charge / close combat / super power and dip".

You can try split-screening and keeping Pokemon Go on screen. The downside is that it won’t work with Camera or a smattering of other apps, and you’ll lose about 1/3 of your screen real-estate.

Kind of ruined by Rhyperior being better, these days.
Most people save fast TM's for pvp mons, like Frost Breath on lapras or Dewgong. If you don't have anything obvious like that lined up, just save it until you do.

Threadly reminder not to stress over the Battle League.

What are the rewards for doing well in Battle League? 5 minutes per game? Maybe 3 out 5 if lucky? A stupid pikachu for reaching level 10?

Instead, do the cool thing and throw for the dust.

Step 1: Make a team of 10cp shitmons

Step 2: Throw every single game until you reach rank 800 or your opponents start resigning games

Step 3: Switch to your good team at the reset of 5 game rewards

Step 4: Sweep 5/5 against level 10 opponents collecting 3 rare candy, 6,000 stardust, 1 rare item, and maybe 1 deino encounter

Step 5: Throw 0/5 to prevent having to put effort into winning

You have 25 games a day (5 sets)

Each set gets you:

-600+1200+4200 = 6000 stardust
-1 rare item (fast TM, charge TM, silver pinap, sinnoh stone, etc)
-1 rare encounter with hopefully a deino but likely just a torchic again

When you get the rhythm, you'll get 2-3 full set rewards every day. It's enough to boost one legendary to ~3500cp a week for me.

Lol I peaked at 3005 today and I have a 96, a 98 and a single 100 Gyarados as my team. You generally want an obscure or 100% lead, but otherwise, IVs mean relatively little, especially beyond attack for CMP.

So me and a friend of mine where talking trying to come up with a road to glory type thing to put some of our not as useful favorites to use. Could use some input on the wins and requirements.
Lvls 1-10 - 1 power up per gym win
10-15 - 1 power up per 5 gym wins
15-20 - 1 power up per 10 gym wins
20-25 - 1 power up per 15 gym wins
25-30 - 1 power up per 20 gym wins
30-35 - 1 power up per 30 gym wins
35-40 - 1 power up per 50 gym wins

2nd move - undecided between a level requirement or certain number of wins.

Evo - undecided on number of wins needed.

Not sure on the numbers since itll get easier the higher ur get. Any suggestions?

At the bottom of elo hell is the Upsidedown where you have to competitively resign to keep losing, otherwise you will win 3/5 by existing and equalize to about ~500 elo

Yes, add friends that send gifts. Best way I found is check the pokemon go friends subreddit and add anyone outside my country that says they always send gifts.

Niantic is so fucking petty that they disable extra pokeball drops in gifts before/during an event like community day. So open gifts beforehand.

Honestly probably good enough. Lower atk is generally better but with shadows most of the rules become guidelines as long as your stat pattern is more or less right. Your hypno should preform pretty well- just do yourself a favor and don't invest the dust until you can TM off frustration because Hypno 100% needs both moves to work.

No, never ever do this. You're better off going broke buying the second move and ignoring frustration for now, and waiting for a rocket invasion to tm it off for essentially free.
That said, while shadow mewtwo is a good attacker, you don't NEED it right now to play the game. Save your resources.

I mean, I have like 150 rare candy to use. it just feels so overwhelming to power up such a low CP mon. usually you have to power up a legendary thats at like 2000CP so the step up isnt that big.
but from 900CP to max is quite a lot (plus the candy to teach it a second move)

What, why would this be a meme?
You want max attack for raids/etc, and hp/def is a nice-to-have but doesn't really change much since your mon will faint to a charge-move that overkills 90% of the time.
You NEED max attack for PvP to win CMP ties, and hp/def can flip a matchup (sometimes, not always, but sometimes- enough that it's worth using a hundo over a shiny 15/13/13 if you have it)

he is right though. if you are not a min maxer for PvP it doesnt matter. most legendaries have a total stat count of 600 - 700. the difference between a 0/0/0 and a 15/15/15 are 45 stat points.

45 stat points arent even 10% of the total stats.
so yeah if you have a mon you like but it has shitty IVs, just level it up. who cares

Nah, my previous team were just too weak to either Steel or Togekiss. The only real hard-counter to my team would be something like a team that is 2 or even 3 weak to Fairy (ie. Garchomp, Machamp, Dragonite, or something), which probably exists but I doubt I'll run into 5 of those madlads in a row.
Do I think I'm going to keep going 5-0 forever? Hell no.

It's not necessarily that they're inherently good (it maxes out at level 37 where as a "good" one will max out at 40), BUT they come super close to 1500 which makes them decent in this case. It's like rank 91.

Nah, the reason defensive shadows usually suck balls is that they do fuck-all fast move damage and have slow-as-shit charge moves that frequently overkill by the time they get there. Shadow Hypno has good fast move damage and most of its charged moves charge quickly.

S Lapras is garbage compared to S Hypno. S Machamp is a larger upgrade than either, at least in GL. I wouldn't even run S Lapras in UL, though.

You don't need to do a batch of 20 all at once, but if you can hit ultra with 2-3 people at a time and egg it up that's your best bet.

Only way I've ever played Lapras in GL was with SB as a Azu/Altaria counter that isn't 100% boneless v.s. grass or GFisk. I can't imagine seriously using one, though, it's deadweight v.s. grasshole and loses to common core meta picks like Deoxys-D and GFisk.
