The best play is to GoW Pinsir in and then remove ALL of its energy and putting Hitmonchan's cards back into your deck so you don't get topdecked. Since Pinsir has a retreat cost, Joe would have to expend the singular Grass Energy it has in hand to switch it out, which would make Weedle harmless for the rest of the game. Now, there are only three Grass Energies in play, making Venusaur unable to attack. The only thing Joe could do is Sword's Dance the next turn. It's also worth noting that Golduck's card isn't weak to Grass so it would've survived anyway.
