Question for the "purists" out there, why do you consider spoofing and DeFit to be equivalent evils? Spoofing gets you all the perfect IVs, shinies, raids/legendaries, and dex completion you could ever ask for, while DeFit is literally just hatching eggs and farming candies.

Sure, but egg hatches are literal fucking shit (and Niantic are assholes for taking away the 1/2 hatch distance bonus while we're still in the middle of a pandemic, and at peak numbers no less depending on where you live) and walking Pokemon other than legendaries is barely useful. That's not even comparable to being able to teleport wherever the fuck you need in the world to hunt down exactly what you need, right down to the stats and moveset.

Doesn't matter, you get your legendary however the fuck you want, remote raids have removed any semblance of this game having any sort of "community play" anyway, so it basically is a solo game since you can do it from your couch anyway.

Something weird happened to me this weekend. Right around 1:30 pm (13:30) local time on both days, I got three shinies of the same species in a row. Yesterday it was Seedot and today it was Charmander. Anyone else have this experience, either around the same time or in general?

I think the hardest part for you is evolving 3 grass types considering there's only nuzleaf atm. Once you do that one it's a free celebi. Also it's not timed as far as I know so have at it bud.

Catch a couple of nuzleafs, evolve the seedot.
If you want to speed things up start playing pvp and you might get a bunch of grass encounters but it's total rng and the pvp kind of sucks. Just take your time honestly.

The slider literally tells you how long does it take to spoof a kilometer. The default setting is 9km per hour, so it takes 6min 40sec to get 1km. The speed doesn't really matter, you might as well set it to the maximum value

Yeah, a buddy of mine made the argument that they're not absolutely essential, and I suppose that there's an amount of accounting that needs to be done for the fainting screen and reloading a second party or what have you. But, every tier list I can find for raiding suggests that shadow pokemon are head and shoulders above everything non-shadow.

I mean, they do tend to have way more raw DPS, but if you actually do raids you'll notice if people use any shadows at all they tend to lead with one, and then use a bunch of non-shadows. The average player isn't so far progressed as to have whole 6-mon teams of shadows for raiding- especially considering a lot of the good PvE shadows were only available for limited periods or are exceptionally uncommon to find the correct type of grunt for.

1. Obviously it isn't a huge priority for them, it's just a neat little side product of the game. I'm not defending the feature completely, but it's just not feasible to have them do it on their own. Calling them "indentured" is an over exaggeration. They just need to make the rewards better.
2. Ideally that would go towards improving the game, but we all know that won't happen. A larger/more experienced dev team and better servers? That's too much for us to ask. But paying people real money to drive around and take videos while covering their travel expenses as well just so they can improve AR tech is a total waste.

That could be part of it, a few gyms in my area have disappeared from the in game map since they introduced it. I think they also want our Pokemon to interact with stops/gyms in the AR snapshot mode, which is neat I guess.

Frankly I'd do it, I personally have a lot of Scyther candy and anything above 10/10/10 is good enough for PvE as a shadow.
