Third, go tell that to women saying they don't need no man on Twitter and shit, there is clearly attitude in the way they voice that opinion and some here clearly feel the same way with your posts. So yes, anyone can show attitude on the Internet, words are more than just words, they convey more than their utilitarian aspect.
Now, you can say I and many others are wrong and keep living in a sweet lie if that's what you like. Or you can maybe wonder if you maybe used words in a way that wasn't meant to show your true intent and maybe you should have said things differently. Maybe, just maybe, there was something you could have changed. Maybe not. But either you keep following your ego and keep living in that sweet lie where you can't do no wrong, or maybe you take the hints life is giving you to better yourself, to learn to see things through the eyes of others, to understand sometimes that accepting to be wrong later means being right, etc... It could be because we are just a bunch of bully assholes that many react that way towards your comments but it's probably not : either way, you should think about it, on your own. Don't even answer me, I'm not saying you are wrong or right on your initial opinion or that you actually showed attitude, I don't care, just try to see that on your own, just go and wonder what you might have done well and what you might have done wrong, take it all in and digest, then come back with what you thought was a good change and see if you get different reactions, and so on. No one asks you to become someone else entirely either but you also need to understand the things you actually do and the impact it has, that way you can transform in the person you want to be and be respected for that, even for opinions or ideas others wouldn't agree with.
