Gen 7 is unironically the generation I enjoyed the most since gen 3. Gen 4 and 5 were ok but I never saw the appeal, gen 6 was bland and I barely consider SwSh Pokémon games.
With Sun for the first time in forever I was actually excited to play a new Pokémon game, find new Pokémon, discover new areas, find out what happened next in the story etc.
