The logo is alright, it demonstrates every gen well. Since it's the big 25th year and 25 is Pikachu's dex number, I expect a lot of Pikachu shilling, merch and maybe some big arc in the anime. I don't want to raise my expectations for the next mainline game but I'm sure something will be announced in Feb.

So first they did some bloody ISS broadcast from outer space and now le popular 2000s singer is getting their share of the money with more famous people to come. It looks like they're doing absolutely everything they can to reach over the world with promotions, merchandise and hype whilst shoving aside/cutting corners on the most beloved aspect (*cough* the games *cough*) as usual. I mean, that expensive hypezard g-max card had some spotlight in the trailer so they know full damn well what they're doing. I expect a new shitfest game and more gachas to fill their quota for the year so they'll end up blowing the rest of the franchise out of proportion.

Honestly the most lazy, profit motivated idea yet. Selling 2 different anniversary collections of direct ports of the old games. It'll help boost Home sales and it's what fans have been begging for the last few years.

Seeing as it seems they want to bring celebs into the mix.. probably something like a CD will drop, anniversary themed clothing, and the usual shit like that. I'll also assume Snap and Unite will be released around the anniversary as well. These will be our "new" games for the year.

We get a Sinnoh sequel and none of the previous features are excluded, we get following pokemon and refresh/amie is back as well (fuck swsh's curry camps).

It would give the US a version of Blue that spanned beyond the version differences of Red and Green.
Things like having Gengar and Golem as in-game trades, wild Jynx and Lickitung, and Clefable/Dragonair/Horsea/Pikachu being in the Game Corner.
I will say the relevance of a third primary game for the US is overblown, but it is true that JP Blue got a lot of things that US Red/Blue never got and otherwise would have with a Green. At this point it's more of a wankfest to say "Venusaur is relevant!" than anything.
