Sky Battles have nothing to do with the animations, we all know that GameFreak would have just put them floating in air if they decided to.
You retards act as if they centered the entire game around Sky Battles when in actuality they were little more than an afterthought they wanted to market as a feature.
The animations for them to be on the ground are already there, that other anon posted them. If they gave a shit they would have fixed it in Gen 7 but they realized that would mean making SM an improvement over Gen 6 in any way so they couldn't do that.
