As I still have my original team (included all 3 starters) This time I am going with only pokémon that were introduced in sinnoh. I’m thinking of drapion or heatran for my last slot.

Same as Renegade Plat here. Most likely replacing Milotic with Gyarados, assuming HMs are removed or at least reduced in importance. Yanmega would also be replaced since Gyarados is already flying, hopefully the dex is expanded.

id love to make an all Sinnoh team but most of the evos arent available until postgame, and many of the past gen prevos needed to GET said mons are rare as hell to boot or only available through some bullshit means like having a specific game cart inserted or something. i REALLY hope they fix the availability of these mons in the remakes, i want my Magmortar...and yes i actually LIKE the evos, call me whatever you want i dont care

I really don't think they'll add any post gen 4 mons into the dex aside from locked dual slot mons like vulpix,growlithe or magby to fill in dex a bit. Gen 4 has no cross generation evolutions from 5-8 aside from megas so it doesn't benefit the rewards like gen 2 or gen 3 did with gen 4's evolutions.

The point is: will the unavailable Pokémon even be scripted in? Considering all Pokémon in Sinnohdex + Galardexes (if they're even compatible to battle between games) it would be like 10 lines missing from the games, excluding legendaries, mythicals and starters. I wonder how dexcut will influence intergenerational compatibility
