Not expecting an announcement then honestly though I did expect them to tease/hint at omething more to come later in the year. If there's nothing by end of May/Start of June then they're probably not releasing one (I REALLY don't think they're skipping a game release the year of their 25th anniversary somehow however).
Remakes get announced towards the middle of the year as they don't need to go through the kerfuffle of introducing the starters/legendaries/titles then let people digest them before ratcheting up the info from May/June when they start talking more about the games anyway.

They're doing that anyway sweaty., shit the artists have already moved onto the DLC concept work after finishing the base game designs by now.
They're never going to dedicate the entire studio to solely one project at a time though. They've been working with two teams as it was since they hired college kids to remake HGSS for them.
