We should stop with the idea of remakes. What the fandom really wants are revisits of older gens, and GF seem happy with that, which is why they handed the rights to do a cookie cutter remake to someone else while they do something different with Sinnoh. We got hints that they want to try new things with old toys with oras new story developments and lgpe being inbetweenquels of gen 1 and 2 rather than straight up gen 1 remakes.

Imagine a Gen 5 that's not a remake but instead a sequel to B2W2 and introducing the original dragon that was hinted in both gen 5 games.
