That being said, the only legends we know of that are, again canonically, one-of-a-kind are Mewtwo, the weather trio, Jirachi, Deoxys, the creation trio, the legendary dragons, Genesect, the balance trio, Hoopa, the tapus, Necrozma, Magearna, the SWSH dogs, Eternatus, Calyrex, and of course Arceus itself.

The event in HGSS where Arceus makes a new creation trio mon for you is just a display of power. It CAN do that, but it wouldn't do that. Fucking god isn't going to duplicate a deity in charge of a fundamental building block of the universe and entrust it to you just so you can feed it fucking curry and make it one-shot wild zigzagoon.
