What the fuck happened? I know I shouldn't be shocked that a Pokemon game is piss easy but this is just ridiculous. I am oneshotting literally everything in this game. Where is the fucking balance? Gen 6 and 7 were easy too but my mons at least fainted from time to time.

The game balance comes from you, sorry that's just how it is with the new exp share. You should be changing team members and trying out new pokemon each time you feel you are growing too strong for the level curve. Pretty easy to stay underleveled.

This is such awful game design, I don't understand why GF couldn't
A) properly balance the game around EXP share
B) level scale if they absolutely had to
C) just let us turn exp share off
OP probably spent like 30 minutes just fucking around in the Wild Area only to come back to the plot way overpowered, you shouldn't need to box your entire party just because you want to go catch some Pokemon, that doesn't even make sense.

I don't think it's supposed to be difficult except the champion, I battled every channel and caught every pokemon I saw, and Leon was still 10 levels higher. Everything else scales to just trainer battles. If you're ev training shit or power leveling it's goign to be easy

unfortunately, if you want a challenge in the single player campaign you have to fucking modify the game yourself with pkNX.

Did you use any exp candies? I've done 3 playthroughs of Sword and never ended up more overleveled than any other modern game.
