Impidimp is based on Imps (and Goblins).
Imps, in ye olde folklore, were a kind of sprite.
Eventually they were demonized and viewed as devils, and the two views have co-existed for years.
Rather than acknowledging that Impidimp's line is therefore based on how old folklore creatures were eventually demonized and viewed as devils, you instead skip over every step you can to arrive at the conclusion that Impidimp is just based on the generic average devil despite having nothing in common with them outside of having 'Imp' in it's english name no matter how much of a stretch you need to take.
You then use this stretch of logic to shit on the rest of it's line because they aren't the demons you view Impidimp to be.
Why do you do this? Why do you just ignore reality and pretend to see nothing but what you want to see? Why do you pretend that the entire line are nothing more but "DUDE MUH DEMONS"? Is it so you can get upset and bitch about how the other two stages of the line don't follow that? Instead of acknowledging that the entire line was based on one line of thinking, fairy tale monsters, you pretend that Impidimp is a pure 100% demonic devil thing and then shit on the other two for not being this. Have you ever considered that rather than Grimmsnarl the problem is just you?
I mean, ultimately it doesn't matter because Chadsnarl still exists and kicks tons of ass. It's just funny to see someone bitch and moan in a way that only proves they don't know what they're talking about.
I can see why you'd like Impidimp because you two have a lot in common.
