Niantic, please. PLEASE FUCKING MAKE RAID NOTIFICATIONS COME THROUGH OVER TOP EVERY SCREEN IN THIS GAME.

I'm so fucking sick of missing raid invites when I'm doing anything but staring at the goddamn bar in the bottom right of the map screen for activity. It's like boiling water - it'll never fucking boil as long as you stare at it.

Don't power up anything until at least level 35.
Catch everything.
Make a pokemon home account and send something over every 3 days to get a meltan box. Catch all of then with a pinup berry.
Add as many people as you can to your friend list ( the limit is 400) and try to hit the opening gifts cap (40 gifts I think)
Try to meet up with other fags in your area for a legendary tier 5 raid every day or twice every two days if you miss a day. Otherwise use your free pass everyday

It takes 5 minutes and it gives you endless melmetals which is one of the most useful pokemon in the game (useful in all battle leagues, gym attack and defense and raid attacker). You just transfer over wurmple or some shit.
Just appraise all your catches and keep your 3 star pokemon. Use your brain to know which pokemon are good just like in a main games.
Dragons = Good
Bugs, snubble, normal types= shit
Etc.

Usable doesn't mean good. Fairy types in general are pretty shitty when used in raids when compared to fighting and dragon types. Shadow gardevoir and mega gardevoir are the only ones you should be aiming for.

To bump the thread, I feel we should probably start talking about what Pokémon Niantic will put into the summer season and what the general theme will be. Generally speaking, it seems Nintendo considers mushrooms to be more of a fall theme, and since Shellder and Trubbish were available during the winter season, we may only see Sableye, Staryu, and maybe Meowth in the wild as an easy way to build up stardust (hopefully most of the Pokémon aren’t only available at night like how Sableye and Foongus were in the spring). Outside of that, I imagine Niantic will make this the Season of Megas to both correlate with the Season of Legends and allow themselves to push out multiple megas per month as an incentive to spend money since (theoretically) remote raid passes will be heavily nerfed soon (also it would fit Swablu and Gible CD well in theme, hopefully), though they could make it more based around music, considering Go Fest, so we might finally see some new sound-based moves like Uproar, Round, Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, and Boomburst making their debut and having pretty good starts in GBL. It would also be a good opportunity fora Whismur community day, since a sound-based moveset is the main thing Exploud lacks.

Why not? A normal-type with an actually good STAB moveset would be a nice change of pace from the Snorlax clones and Vigoroth, which mostly function as Body-Slam-spammers.

I mostly mentioned Sableye since it was available now as a rare spawn and since it is generally considered to be a summer Pokémon, though I do anticipate Banette to be more likely to be featured in October this year. Who knows? Either could still be featured this summer while the other is featured in October.

I’d be for it, especially if it means we finally get Pokémon with usable movesets. I’ve mentioned in previous threads that Pokémon like Mega Banette and pic related have strictly worse stats to Pokémon of their type, and while pic related has better attack, it’s moveset can’t compare to the overpowered might of Weather Ball. We could also use stuff for Pokémon like the (currently not shiny) Camerupt and various other Pokémon that probably wouldn’t hold a niche even if they were available in GBL.

Point being it's cheap and its movepool is fast and good at getting through the big, fat Pokemon you normally see in gyms. It makes Pokemon like Latios, Machamp, Metagross and Dragonite look like meek and inferior single-cellular creatures in comparison. I'd rather walk this buddy for the rest of my life than use any of these other Pokemon to take down gyms.

balloons don't change what they are after they spawn. the whole ten minutes it will always be cliff, or giovanni, or that annoying psychic grunt, until it despawns. when the next one comes in it will (hopefully) be different.

I dunno about auto walk, except be careful cause over doing it can get you banned for botting.

Every half hour you can do interactions to build excitement
feed/play/picture/fight/walk/etc whatever earns hearts.
Doing different kinds of fights (gym/rocket/pvp) all count separately and help get there faster.

Yeah I know about the excitement stuff but if I feed after a half hour it doesn't add a heart to it, feed only ever seems to get a heart if I wait for the hunger bar to empty entirely which disables the excitement hearts.

yes you can only get a treat heart every hour.
but you can build excitement every half hour, which is like a separate invisible bar.
Once excited you can fill the excited hearts every hour too.
