>>47185697Thing is, all of those items have good use cases, and generally are seen as some of the better options available. While it's true that Lucky Punch increases Chansey's CHR, that ultimately doesn't mean squat, because:
>Chansey's offensive stats are terrible>Chansey's offensive moveset is sub-par>Chansey is NFE and gets better offensive stats when it evolvesAnd when compared to other species-exclusive hold items:
>Raw stat increase that is active at all times vs. a percent chance to deal extra damageIf it also worked on Blissey, maybe it would be worth considering way back when it was new, simply due to the fact that held items were sparse in gen 2; but even then, there were better options, especially Leftovers. The power gap only increased with later gens, when items like Eviolite were introduced.
Even if you're not minmaxing for competitive or something, there's just no reason to consider Lucky Punch seriously.
