Do be retarded, that will never happen. Dexit was never about giving overlooked Pokemon a chance to shine. Do you really think Masuda would let his orange pimp be excluded? The only reason Game Freak was allowed to use anything other than KANTOOOOO for the Legends starters was because Masuda was busy ruining BDSP instead. And even then there will probably be a free MEGA GIGA ULTRA SHINY CHARIZARD XYZ given out right after you pick your starter.

Unova was based precisely because it cut Kanto in the best way. Regardless of the reused archetypes, it was the one gen where shilling was never present. The only reference to Zard was a fucking bridge where you occasionally heard the cry & that was it. And when GF did "shill" Kanto mons it was based shit like the Dragonite statue.

One can safely assume Charizard is an "evergreen" mon that will always be readily in the games. Pikachu definitely is as well, with Eevee right behind but I'm reluctant to call that one.
With even the likes of Alakazam not making the initial cut, there's probably less than 10 evergreens.
