Cinderace has a horrible, uncanny valley design, arguably one of the worst in pokémon, something that could have easily been avoided. It should have looked more like redesign on the right, at least. Makes you notice how lazy and weird the original one is.
This makes me sad bc the mon has a very fun concept.
Like, why do the "ears" look like they're made of the same flat paper the head is? There is no reason for it too lack this much definition.
Why is Cinderace so upright with straight legs? The completely human posture disturbs me more than anything. The body should have looked more similar to Lucario.
Other humanoids look like alluring aliens, like Hatterene, Gardevoir or sum shit. This one looks like an awkward teenage boy in a fursuit.
Nothing like the completely off-model fanarts you use to cope, btw.
