>>47812654>Oh no I have to fight the legendaries on the cover of the games that I was planning on facing in the first place. It ruins the whole "kid going on an adventure" vibe, and the secrecy and mysteriousness behind Ho-oh and Lugia by making them a central part of the game, rather than a myth like in GSC.
>They give substance to how you literally get to meet the 2 legendaries. In GSC a literal random NPC just hands you the Silver Wing.Yes, and they shouldn't exist, and the Legendaries shouldn't be forced encounters. The wings are supposed to feel like meaningless items but are actually from the Legendaries. That was the whole point. It makes it feel more natural, like you're making the discoveries yourself.
>That's entirely your opinion. Most people agree with me on that one.
>Name one then. The graffiti in Celadon, the mirrors in NPC houses, the open window in Elm's Lab etc.
>It was a useless mechanic and should have had more substance even in GSC.Doesn't mean it should've been removed entirely. What kind of nonsense is that? It could've been expanded on further in HGSS by making it multiplayer. i.e. you could visit eachother's rooms and share exclusive decorations.
>They weren't removed from the game their ecounter locations were only moved. Phanpy's location is actually the same with it only being game specific to HeartGold instead of SoulSilver when it was originally Silver. Excluding Teddiursa, you still meet these Pokémon late in the original games in areas literally next to each other.FUCKING RETARD. In Crystal you can catch Phanpy right above Route 29 and Teddiursa in Dark Cave on Route 31. And Sneasel in Ice Path. All of these changes were reverted in HGSS. PLAY THE GAME.
>Route 47/48 shitDon't care not reading all that. Cianwood City was supposed to be a quiet, dead-end beach town in the corner of the Region, HGSS ruined that feel completelt by adding a tourist attraction right next to it. They could've picked a better place to add it.
