Lillie's story in the anime is more conventional and less dramatic than her video game counterpart, she is just a rich girl with a strong phobia, who misses her brother who has left the house and resents her mother for being absent.
In spite of everything, I enjoyed that the story was not so Lilliecentric and allowed us to see the day-to-day of the protagonists, my only complaint is that they did not give more screentime to Lana's mother and Kiawe's little sister.
