Yeah but the lore implying the documents for creating it was a cool development for the pokemon instead of there being an implied like 3 made in existence (gladion's, the one he gave you, and another permanently in stasis)
Kinda hoping they develop it further like mass-produced Type:Nulls

Macro Cosmos developed it based on notes taken from the Alola region and they give it to you because you're the champion and can probably be trusted to raise it. I don't see what's confusing about it.

Not really. Macro Cosmos is a shady company that take part in even shadier business practices. Their intentions were to find a Pokémon that would give them the energy source they needed to let Galar prosper for the next 1000 years and a man made Pokémon that can literally be edited with command disks could’ve done the trick.

It's a gift pokemon in an optional post-game area. It's about as much part of the story as being gifted a Beldum by Steven is in Gen III.

Beldum makes more sense as a Gen 3 Pokémon and the base form of the Champion’s ace. Type:Null is here just because with nothing besides a reference to Alola that comes from and goes nowhere.

Yes really. If they copied the data from Alola, surely they’d know it was a massive failure. They were also deadset on Eternatus being their solution. Feels like a forced reference that very loosely fits with MC
