gen 5 is still golden era.
black and white are the games that made me excited the most after red and blue. they are the games that provide you with the maximum thrill in discovering an entire roster of new monsters. compared to other regions (besides kanot for obvious reasons) it like a fresh new start, and that was exciting. BW2 are also great with an incredible post-game. The sieries should have ended there.

This is okay if 90% of the designs, from the starters to the legendaries, aren't disgusting or ugly as fuck and the only cool Pokemon are located towards the tail end of the region so you barely spend any time with them
