unlike everyone else i'm not going to be so pessimistic. the devs seem pretty intent on making sure these games are gonna be more of a remaster than a remake. hence the weird chibi models, grid patterns, etc.
i look forwards to seeing people complain that they didn't change enough lol

Mt. Coronet was the specific roadblock that caused too many parents to call Nintendo to complain and get help for their kids didn't know what to do to advance the game. Gen 4 is what caused the heavy casualization of dungeon exploration going forward. It will definitely be getting a rework or at least some heavy assistance in some form

I want nothing touched. I don't want it to be a Wela Volcano Park, Ultra Hallway or a Galar Corridor.
I don't even want anything remotely like PokeRide, Partner Moves, or the removal of HMs and terrain necessitating HMs, just because Sinnohfetuses were too young at the time of DPPt to manage HMs properly.

PokeRIde never distinguished the appeal of HM's, it just got rid of the annoying task of forcing a moveset for it.

Yes it did.

No, secret techniques did that and gave the player an extra degree of agency in unlocking them.

Mt Coronet is one of the most poorly designed ""dungeons"" in the entire fucking series. They forgot what made the dungeons in gen 1 actually good (the fact that they all had unique puzzles or pokemon) and instead just padded the game with generic shit that isn't fun to play.
