I have a 14/14/15 shadow Duskull that still knows frustration, which can't be removed at this time.

To get it to learn Shadow Ball, it needs to be taught a second move before I evolve it correct?

Just made the mistake of evolving a 15/15/15 purified Duskull without doing so, it doesn't know Return now.

The usual "Catch X Duskull" tasks for some small items or Duskull encounters.
There's a event research that is "Catch 5 Duskull" and "Power up Pokemon 5 times" for four easy Sinnoh Stones and a Duskull encounter.

There's also the $1 paid ticket that has some Duskull encounters, two incenses, a star piece, a Dusknoir and Dusclops encounter, two silver pinaps. It's very underwhelming.

I think the only community day ticket I've ever bought is the one for Gible.

After a little research come to the conclusion this guy can't learn Shadow Ball at all, not without an Elite Charge TM.

Fuck that. Maybe if we get a Rocket event before the end of year it'll have a chance.

I have to wonder what Niantic's thought processes are.

This repeats the mistake of the Porygon community day, where Porygon2 and Dusclops are the actually useful Pokémon in PVP and need the special move.

Duskull isn't even a shiny debut, they had choices like Litwick and Yamask right there, or alternatively Pumpkaboo or Phantump which is right there in the loading screen. I guess they're saving that for the actual Halloween event though.
Which is another point, October 9th for your spooktober community day?

This'll easily go down as one of the worst community days.

They're only doing it to fulfill their Sinnoh stone quota; we're getting another Sinnoh stone evolution in February, lest they break their 3 year trend. Also Yamask is already available as shiny, plus they're not gonna do a one-stage evolution that doesn't require 400 candy.

I still really hate that they made Tri-Attack a weaker attack than even Hyper Beam in PvE (only barely edging out due to it being a two-bar move). What would be the downside to making it as strong as Shadow Ball? That would've left the normal at 19 DPS and the shadow at 23, which is not only lower than Mewtwo, but it's weaker than most high-end raid Pokemon against a type they are super-effective against. Besides, it's not like anything else could make use of it in raids, why not just make Porygon-Z usable. Supposedly it's just under top 60 in Master League, but last time I checked, you hardly see anything outside top 30.

Actually they sell elite TMs in every community day box.
Honestly it's a really scummy move, actual pay to win because you almost fucking never get access to elite TMs for free and they're needed for specific situations or ideal for "fixing" Pokémon.

Mewtwo with both Psystrike and Shadow Ball for example, only possible with an elite TM.
But truthfully you don't need that level of optimisation for this game, especially not for PvE.

What’s a good third member for a Master League Classic team consisting of Yveltal (Snarl, Dark Pulse, and Focus Blast) and Mewtwo (Psycho Cut, Psystrike, Thunderbolt)? I was using a Garchomp (Mud Shot, Sand Tomb, Outrage), but she feels like the weak link of the team.

Why are these things so fucking hard to catch now? I caught a Shadow Duskull last night and even with Shadow on it didn't shift anywhere fucking near as much as these guys are today.
Do they intentionally set mons to be significantly harder to catch on CDs?

Not really. The only time the entire Duskull family is ever going to be useful is IF (not even guaranteed) Dusclops gets Shadow Ball and even then you'll probably want something like 0/15/15 instead of 4*

Its 15 a month to get IV% scans, Pokestop Task (including non marked AR scans), Team Rocket timers and spawns. Kinda worth when researches have good rewards or when Team Rocket events drops or grinding for Shiny Shadows.

In my case, 15 dollars for 9 days of driving all over town to grab the tasks was worth. I think I honestly had more fun playing my driving routes than actually getting the stardust though.

What's a good second attack for Mewtwo and does it have anything faster than psywave? Feels weird to be losing to something it's strong against in rocket battles just because Psywave takes too long but I'm glad I spent the past month getting all that candy for it to purify it, it turned into a hundo, it'll probably be really strong once I max it for raid battles, its max CP is 4143, I hit the jackpot, too bad I can't leave it in gyms but I get why, legendaries are powerful too powerful to be put in gyms it'd take forever to defeat them

I'd expect the non dark and ghosts to get dropped and replaced with something else, but litwick will probably stay and not get any normal spawns
