I'm not the same anon that was posting these earlier, but I think they're fun.
>What are we?
You're a normal Pokemon, no hybrids this time around.
>Game, anime, or manga rules?
Anime rules since they're less restrictive.
>Tech Level
Roughly Medieval/Age of Sail (I know that's a massive span of time, but it's the best I've got). Going for the PMD world this time around rather than the mainline world though.
>How do I get my form?
Either pick your favorite non-legendary/non-mega or roll here https://randompokemon.com/
Rolling is more fun imo.

You find yourself on a small hill overlooking the shores of a warm and sunny land. You aren't entirely sure where you are so you decide to survey your surroundings. Looking down towards the beach you can see what looks to be a town, with Pokemon of all shapes and sizes milling about within. Behind you are vast mountains and forests, but on some of the closer mountains you can see a few clearings where tribal huts stand and campfires burn.
