Not everything has to look hyper realistic to be pleasing to the eye, though. There comes a point where you just reach uncanny valley levels of realism, and that's what a lot of you people want. I think the games lookn good, and if they can run at 30 FPS locked, then I see no problem in the graphics department.

Now if this shit stutters and runs at like 15-20 FPS like LGPE did, then I'll be pissed.

Then they should've stylized it more, SWSH and PLA are an inbetween but it could both look and run better if they kept it simple and cartoony like Alola for ex. which has aged well enough imo

Why do people conflate "bad graphics" to mean "realism". The shit just looks low quality, the only reason you wouldn't think that is if you literally only play Pokemon and have no frame of reference to compare these games to.

Smart people realize that the only reason we ever complained about graphics to begin with is because I was a representation of the laziness and lack of care permeating the rest of the games that was easy and obvious to point to. Legends: Arceus doesn't look like a totally shitty lazy cashgrab of a game, so the graphics are fine for what they are. Remember, most of the best games of all time look like shit right now and you could probably run most of your favorite games on a Nintendo Wii unless you're like, 15.

Brain dead. They gave a very small number of them rigged instead of textured eyes or mouths, but that is easy as shit and super bare. And the reussed assets weren't about the Pokemons anyway, the game is filled to the brim with trees, bushes, gates, wheelcarts, fences and more all reused and aped from previous games. It's basically some kind of frankesteined demo for a bigger map they are putting a price tag on.

Actually fucking braindead, so instead of focusing on what actually matters (the pokemon) were focused on the fact that the gates look similar to old game gates. Also shoe me proof of them reusing fences and shit im actually curious. They still gave them new models which was unnecessary, if they really wanted to be lazy they didn't have to. You conveniently ignored that i mentioned new animations

It keeps the general idea of the old style but also changes it plenty to not alienate old players, also ignored the action combat which is a big part of the game
