anybody else sick of the utterly autistic shiny hunting community at this point? especially in the last 2 years, bringing up the topic at all has become a cesspool, people lose their shit if they don't get sparkles within 100 SRs and laugh at people who purposely challenge themselves with full-odds hunts just to maintain the integrity of the hobby, I swear everyone's contracted severe adhd or some shit.

I realize it's a side-effect of the games no longer having anything to do but shiny hunting and competitive, but that doesn't mean I can't complain. I worked my ass off for a full-odds, 1/8192 shiny chimchar for 4 FUCKING MONTHS and when I go to show it off and talk about the hunt i'm met with a bunch of jeering and smug statements about how I should've "just masuda methoded bro", it's utterly infuriating and has ruined a hobby i've loved for years. fuck this shit.
