That was the most beautiful game I've had in quite some time.
Everyone was on point.

I was saying in the other thread, but getting to a higher elo is fucking trivial now. I'm a shitter who fell down to 800 and climbed back up and managed to get from 1200 to 1400 right after the update.

At least that's what I think happens.
Also no one wants to fill in roles and would rather play whatever they want.

Tsareena ult is actually good. You just use it on your own terms to initiate a fight. The enemy team has to leave that person to die, or come in and get murdered by you when it's over.

honestly I don't even think buffs could save it for me
razor leaf is such an incredibly boring set where all you do is mash A or B, spirit shackle while cool just does not synergize with the rest of its set and even with significant buffs to rowlet the early game would still be a pain in the ass with that auto mechanic and no reliable last hit options
it just feels frustrating to play as at all times

Still struggles late game but getting access to the move upgrades sooner helps alleviate his weaknesses somewhat. The HHP buff is probably the biggest thing he got and it makes him feel so much better to play.

Spirit Shackle does synergize with shadow sneak because snuck targets receive more shackle damage. The problem is the bar for shackle is super thin and it doesn’t do any damage to tanks

meant to say kit instead of set, getting any use out of autos means putting yourself far closer than shackle users should be and if you're in a situation where you need to charge shackle then the autos will reset by the time it's done

Queens Majesty reduces the cooldown so the more you spam the faster they regenerate. Triple Axel with the attack speed boost usually means I’m blasting out moves nonstop

Garde's only -real- problem was being held back by evolving late.
She's a great ranged fighter once she actually evolves.
Garchomp's problem is that he can't stick to anyone, so people can just walk out of his attacks.
Also Garchomp actually got nerfed since his natural crit rate got lowered and neither of his dragon moves crit anymore.

Garchomp has way more issues than just levels
For one gible is much worse than ralts and ralts is fucking bad.
Gabite it's still terrible but kirlia is actually a great powerspike.
Garchomp is melee and all his moves suck at sticking to the enemy.
While garde is a ranged nukes who doesn't have that issue at all.

What's the preferred build for Sylveon? I started playing him last week and was having a lot of success with CM+Hyper Voice, but then I played against a MF+Draining Kiss one that hard carried his team, so I tried it myself and it feels a lot stronger despite the nerfs.

I'm impressed how much they manage to squeeze out of 2 buttons.
Excited to see more new Pokémon.
But in retrospect there was no reason for all the starter mons to be so generic. Like they're all just solely CD based with no secondary mechanics. That might've been fine back when league released but it's not 2009 anymore.

Also unfortunate that the game seems to have kinda died anyway.
It's pretty good all things considered

There was basically a permanent team fight at the bottom, IIRC. Venusaur was always top, and got the goals up there for free more or less. I really should have fucked off from the team fight at bot and just spent more time farming.

It’s a glorified auto attack that does more damage the lower hp you have which is bad for a tank honestly. Most of the time you can’t even catch people, they just run away as soon as they see flail.

The gimmick is that you yawn then use flail, but even then your damage isn’t notable unless you’re dying.

After rewatching it a couple times and looking at the kill report, I'm certain what happened is I got hit by Mammoswine boosted auto, which stunned me before the damage happens. I've had Dream Eater be interrupted so many times, it's goddamn annoying. It effectively has like a 2 second cast time between shooting the projectile, teleporting and dealing damage.

Now that I've played a shit ton of Venusaur to climb up to Masters, I'm slowly dropping him as I near 1500 ELO in favor of going back to Pikachu (my original favorite when I started the game) and am picking up Cinderace. Cinderace is a lot of fun, great laner and it's refreshing to be able to take down mobs well unlike Venu. But I can't grasp his Ult. I'm so used to Pika and Venu's Ult use where I can just use it to same myself in an AoE and run around, I keep fucking up with Cinder's and it either gets cancelled by someone, or it doesn't trigger because "no target found". It's throwing me for a loop and I gotta practice with it for awhile to use it for just objectives and Zap instead of using it to try and save myself.

The prefered build is Hyper Voice + Calm Mind, with a mix of BuddyBarrier/FocusBand/ChoiceSpecs/WiseGlasses. Wise glasses is considered here because it procs on every HyperVoice hit to everyone it damages, but ChoiceSpecs only activate once on the first hit, to the first pokemon you hit. You can try use both glasses if you want, sacrificing a defensive held item.

On solo q, Mystical Fire is just as viable as the other set, you can use it with Draining Kiss or Calm Mind, I personally prefer DKiss for sustainability and little extra damage. For this set the prefered held items are Buddy Barrier/ Focus Band/ Muscle Band, MBand is used here because you´ll be using the basic attack all the time and end up doing more damage than using any special attack held items.

As a Cinderace, the only time I fear Tsareena is during her Ult. I've start weening off Eject in favor of X Attack, X Speed, and Full Heal and even with Flame Charge, she can catch up no problem. I've started considering putting back on Eject because there are so many Tsareenas.

It's really annoying how a shitty jungler can cause the entire team to collapse. Not rotating lanes, not prioritizing targets, stealing lane mobs from laners, overextending into the enemy's goal. Meanwhile, the enemy jungler is lvl. 8 by the time two and a half minutes has passed and you're wondering at the end of the game how you did more damage as a Wigglytuff than your jungler.

then it's natural that their team is going to have much higher damage dealt than your team, because your team soaks up a trillion damage for breakfast and powers through it while their team just avoids damage (or mitigates it) altogether

I can dish out 50k damage to a slowbro or snorlax alone throughout one match. they're built to tank it. The move won't matter since they'll happily sit there and soak up 10 blows, whereas 1 or 2 will kill a Cramorant

From the 4 games I've managed to lock her, the strategy seems to be choosing Stomp/Grassy Glide and going hyper aggro. If an enemy dares to get near you, start hammering the Stomp button and decimate their HP. If an enemy tries to kite you, glide over to them, then mash the Stomp button. Keep doing that until they start actively avoiding you, then start farming their jungle.

Your boosted attack does a shitload of damage. Using muscle band helps get your three attacks out faster and does some extra chunk damage from your basic attacks.
Obviously, use gigadrain. Petal dance is more for the movespeed and cooldown reduction than the damage

Position yourself like a burst ranged character until you can get to Petal Dance. Don't bother with cheesing multiple opponents til you're Venusaur.

It's possible you're just not farming as aggressively as you should.
At level 8 you have ~260 SpAtk, and at level 9 with your evolution into venusaur you have over 400 SpAtk. Not to mention all your other stat gains.

Don't linger at level 8. I see a lot of people doing that, thinking they don't have time to farm, but going to a teamfight without evolving (except 1st drednaw or 1st rotom at ~7:00) is a bigger waste. Just hit a corphish, get your 9, and your damage output almost doubles.

Gigadrain and autoattacks should clear and of the mons fast enough individually, but when you're farming with petal dance, draw aggro on the wild mon towards the next wild mon you're going to farm so that petal dance is hitting both of them. This is most notable with the side-lane audinos or the corphish in the center. You can position yourself so that your gigadrain hits them both and your boosted attack hits them both as well.
Little efficiencies like that do make a big difference, since you're moving while farming and you're killing 2 audinos in the time you'd spend killing 1 anyway.
The amount of people who just walk up to an audino, stand still and attack it until it's dead before moving is ridiculous. Wastes so much time.
Farm on your way towards objectives, farm while you're defending a goal, farm whenever you see it available and don't have a higher priority to attend to. And even then, multitask and farm while you're doing it.
