One step forward, two steps back. They added evs and held items but invalidated that difficulty with the new exp. Share and affection boosts. This would be an awesome fight and incentive to use better strats/teams and EV train but as it stands you dont need to. Why did they bother making these smogon-lite sets for npcs if they were just going to negate any challenge with broken mechanics making them pointless? Another head scratcher from gamefreak.

Also, BDSP would be the hardest game of the franchise but the friendship thing ruined it, USUM still takes the cake (and Kukui with a Infernape is still the hardest champion, Cynthia is second tho)
