Verlisify hates Legends because it wasn’t what he wanted BDSP to be. If BDSP were SWSH-style then he’d be singing a different tune, but since they aren’t he’s butthurt and basically running a smear campaign

It’s funny too because if you actually watch his videos he struggles to even find anything to complain about and then goes on a tangent about problems he has with the lore

I just watched this entire video and I don’t get what this guy’s problem is. The first couple seconds of the trailer just showed reels of the characters and he immediately started whining. Then he said something about the lore making no sense, fan service and these games being more baby than Let’s Go. He’s not even making real critiques about the game, he’s just whining. He's correct in that the game doesn't look good visually and the gameplay loop (as far as we know) being an underwhelming grindfest, the latter of which isn't nearly discussed enough. Having to see a wild Shinx use bite 15 times to progress isn't exactly riveting gameplay.

The game is built for the grinding, a pokemon can use moves in the overworld, meaning you don't have to force yourself into a battle.
You can catch and battle without a transition screen and everything is built for a smoother experience.

Really sick of seeing people spreading this around. On this page, it has 'Research Level Complete!' even though almost all of the additional boxes are unchecked. That means that you only need to complete a certain number of them in order to progress.
The research tasks are obviously meant to be filled out slowly over time, throughout the course of an entire playthrough. If you actually think that you need to try and complete the entire page right away for every single new Pokemon you encounter, you only have yourself to blame if it feels like grinding.

He's been a known fraud before the Switch era of Pokemon. Besides his laughable catalog of shitmon sets he'll defend to the death, the fucker is just autistically hypocritical over damn near everything. For example he has a video so shit he needed to unlist it because he was getting assblasted over people calling him out in the comments (and he, to this day, still combs over and deletes comments on it so it looks better received than it is), the entirety of the near 20 minute video is a tantrum about how glitching isn't hacking and it boils down to "If they thought glitches were bad, why are they in the game?". He even went on a smear campaign against dupers, and then once he figured out how to use one of the dupe methods himself he defended it by saying it's ok when he does it.
