>>49054984During this ritual, male and female Skarmory fight, the females tend to be bigger, so they usually win. If the female decides he's put up a good fight, she'll carry him back to the nest to mate. I guess that's what's going on outside right now. Good luck, little guy!
I don't want to interrupt these two lovebirds, so I try and head back to sleep. Before I can drift off, I hear a loud clang as one of the birds falls from the sky, ripping a hole right though my tent.
He's just laying there, his metal wings full of scratches and dents, looking dazed and unconscious. Peering through the rip in the ceiling of my tent, I can see the other Skarmory hovering above with a confused look on her face. I really don't know what to do here! I'm trapped in the middle of this whole commotion, I can't leave or I'll risk getting attacked or something. Maybe this whole thing will end soon...
While thinking of a way to get out of this, it seems like the other Skarmory has made up her mind. Swooping down to my tent, she lands on top of my sleeping bag, inspecting me with a puzzled look on her face.
Cocking her head for a second, she then calmp onto my arms with her sharp metal talons and starts taking off into the skies, lifting me with her. If I didn't know any better, I would say that in her moment on confusion, she's confused me for her mate!
As I'm slowly being carried by this huge metal bird, I try and break free from her grasp, but her razor sharp claws hold me in place as she flies me over to her nest in the mountains. She's holding on so hard that I can feel her talons cut into my arm, leaving a huge gash. If it wasn't for the adrenaline coursing through my veins, I would pass out right now.
Reaching her destination, she releases me from her grasp, and I fall right into a large bramble bush covered in thorns. The gash from her talons was bad enough, but the brambles tore through my clothing, and even more so through my skin.
