I'm honestly embarrassed to share the same board as Unova fans.

They are so toxic and always jump to defend their flop games that are the worst in the franchise.

I'm not a zoomer so I never thought gen 5 was good, I always saw them as a below average pokemon games filled with the worst designs in the series, and shallow pandering (charizard bridge, PWT).

But now, after seeing all the Unova fanboys on the internet and their hostility towards other gens, I can definitively say gen 5 is the worst generation of pokemon.

If you really want to be a prick about what a "dex cut" is, then we've been getting them in every Generation since Gen 2.
No one batted an eye when you couldn't catch any of the Kanto Legendaries at all in GSC, why is it such a big deal that you can't catch Magikarp in Gen 5 until the postgame?

Every Pokémon at that point in time was able to be transferred to this game. All of them.
In SWSH, Let’s Go and BDSP, you were only able to transfer if they are allowed in the game.

That’s not a dexcut, that’s a form cut for a form that had Giselle to be distributed, and thus even in HGSS they explained why you can’t trade it anywhere. This eliminated nothing from the dex and is no where near comparable to an actual dexcut. It’s really only used by shills.

Alola WAS the first Dexcut. That's why there's no National Dex, they had planned to do the dexcut there before chickening out at the last minute. That's why Pokemon outside of the regional dex aren't acknowledged by the game in any way.
