Let's reminisce about the Battle Frontier and the PWT, IMO they're the best post game content we've gotten. And while I haven't ever gotten all golds in Emerald, I have in Platinum and have completed the PWT in White 2

it grinds my gears that the hoenn battle frontier exists pre-PSS, it makes it obnoxious to use a lot of pokemon. Metagross using sludge bomb for coverage in Emerald is so fucking weird.
How do Gaia/Unbound battle frontiers compare?

I really just want the Factory back. The rental tournament in PWT is alright but just not the same as climbing to the top and swapping out along the way as the mons get stronger and stronger with each 7 win streak. PWT's final fight theme is great but doesn't quite hit the stakes of a Frontier Brain theme.

Can't you choose among dozens of different formats to play Unbound frontier in? So you have a vanilla format just like cartridge in addition to a shitload of other different ways to play. Sounds like an objective improvement.

Yes, but do you really care about shit like little cup? I'd rather just have actual unique facilities like battle pyramid. Different formats would be great if the facilities were good enough to warrant playing it all

The only other moment in Pokemon that felt as magical as this was finding Suicune in the wild with no prior knowledge about it being there.
