i did not know that, probably because it's such a pain in the ass to traverse, though it is cool that it leads back to new bark. also it's not really that helpful since you can get one with extremespeed after the gym. anyway, obvious one but ya know.

I really like this route. Once you come out of the forest you are instantly met with a whole huge area to explore with new encounters, events, a big city, and even some backtracking secrets on this route.
I love how much the game opens up after each gym past the 2nd one.

I always hate this route. Not because it's bad, but because when I backtrack, I'm so retarded I forget the 3 beauties in the small hidden spot, so I always get my ass handed in that area everytime I do a playthrough.

It has such a unique atmosphere to it that I can't quite describe. Even in GSC it conveys that feeling very well.

It's kind of like a quiet path going through a park on the outskirts of a busy town. It's so comfy walking through here at night.
