There are anons on this board who still haven't played the greatest pokemon game ever made, do yourself a favour and whip up an emulator and play it today.

I played this game as a wurmple and caterpie as my buddy.
I also gave myself judgement because it was funny, but I notice wurple get like 0 moves so my buddy was becoming better except me, so I had to inject normal moves so I would fall to far behind nothing insane like judgment though.
Fun fact judgement copies your type so it was stab bug move(does PMD use stab like mainline?)

It is 1 of the best 2D artwork/games. Honestly prefer 2D over the 3D of mystery dungeon games, but Rescue DX did make great usage of water color which was rare.

Why are you talking about the mainline games from the 3DS era? SS even with its cut content and over priced $60 total dlc and $60 game, its sales did good reaching over 20 million better than what 3DS era did and failed at.

The combat system adaptation, while better than in many spin offs, was still mediocre in comparison to core games.
Other than that yes, PMD2 was superior in every way. Although not sure if that indicates how good PMD2 was or how flawed other games are.

I finally tried this one on emulator about two summers ago, after playing Explorers of Time on my DS when I was a kid. I wanted to play it for a while because I love Lucario and was very excited to be able to play a Riolu. I picked vulpix as my partner (was hestitating between her and Eevee, but I figured I didn't want to do all of the game stuck with a normal type) and holy fuck is it strong. Imprison is simply broken. My only issue with this composition is that Dialga was a complete joke. I have yet to finish the post-game, I kind of lost interest around the Manaphy storyline.

I was also planning on playing Blue Rescue Team some of these days, incarnating a Cubone, but I'd like a Skitty as my partner and you can only have her as the player character sadly.
But wait, I just remembered while writing this, Blue Rescue Team got a remake, right? How is it?

Vulpix fits that wimpy pushover personality than most of the other options desu.
