You can't say Gen 1 is better than Gen 4 for example, it's objectively wrong. Gen 4 being on GBA is superior on a lot of technical points, has a lot more content and will always be better. What you call objectivity is subjectivity. You like older gens because you grew with them, you grew with the Pokémon in them, you have subjectivity bias. But these games are not technically better and are not that much greater, they all tend to be decent. All, new and old.
