I think the design is fine, but god damn it's fucking weak to everything once you get past the first couple areas. Just getting dumpstered left, right and center, and it's not even a glass cannon so you can try to make that work.

That's exactly why I ended up choosing Oshawott (besides Samurott's cool new design). I was gonna pick Cyndaquil but then I thought about just how many weaknesses a fire/ghost typing gives and noped out.

Maybe yours has the shittiest stats possible, but mine is one of the MVPs of the team aside from Ursaluna. Typhlosion is a beast and can take out a ton of late game Pokemon. Not sure what you're one about dude.

It's locked; there's no original Typhlo, Deci, Samu.
The best thing you can do is get a shiny version of them as the shiny is colored to be similar to their original counterparts

I like that it's the opposite of Chandelure where it actually guides and cleanses souls instead of luring and burning them up. Design wise it's pretty cute and I like how the fire looks and the fact it's always on during battles.

I think part of the problem is that they're trying to dodge our predictions. I am not saying this as a joke; they are probably trying to literally dodge whatever we predict to avoid any weird situations where some youtuber becomes famous for dumb shit like predicting Garchomp's favorite food.
Fakemon are probably an extreme headache for them because they need to make unique creatures that do not overlap with the ideas of millions of people on the internet AND avoid overlapping too heavily with other franchises.
