Gen 5 didn't have its own Eevee. Would have been cool to get a baby Normal mpnkey in the Dreamyard, and have an early choice in which type it would become like with Eevee in Gale in Darkness.
Maybe you didn't want the one that is strong against the first gym, and wanted the same type as the gym or as your starter.
