What would his team be if he appeared as a fightable trainer?

my guess would be Typhlosion, Gyrados, Dragonite, Snorlax, Donphan, and Heracross

Well using red as an example, I'd be the three johto starters, a togetic from the free egg, shuckle since that's given to you too and an eeveelution probably umbreon.

I know Red didn't get Mewtwo but I think it'd be nice for him to have Ho-Oh, since GS were the first games to do the whole "box legendary" thing.

So Typhlosion for course, then like Ampharos maybe, and the rest idrk

I don't subscribe to 3 starters since everyone widely agrees he used Typhlosion and Silver Feraligatr, whereas there was no real canon and is too much debate about what Red picked

Also think "He was gifted these and caught these unique mons therefore he used them" is a really bad argument
