are there any romhacks/fangames for the mystery dungeon series?
for a series praised for being so good you'd figure "someone" has tried to make one.

pmd is one of the most tedious games i've ever played and the story isn't even that good, just hyped up by furries because you get to be the pokemon you want to cum inside of rather than train it.

The mystery dungeon engine is notoriously difficult to work with, there have been some attempts at romhacks but nothing notable has happened.
