What is the likelihood of them returning in future games? I really like their designs.

USUM was a bunch of good ideas but really poorly used.

USUM needed to be a sequel. After SM not just a cheap AU.

The real ULTRA- of the USUM.
A SM sequel.

Only in Masters, even when they remake Alola they won't tap anything with USUM's additions due to how poorly received they were save for the Pokemon (which they'll cram into SM's method of getting Ultra Beasts).
