There was no blushing or spaghetti from Serena, she removed the precious ribbon Ash gave her with no explanation at all, they went out of their way to limit their interactions to a 10 second scene that had nothing in it. One of the previous writers who liked the ship said she wanted to write this episode but wasn't allowed.
They never addressed the fact she kissed him, they seem to be shying away from all romantic implications and this is probably going to be the last time we see her for years and years, by that point none of the target demographic is going to know who she is (that's already happening) so there is no chance they're going to follow up on any of the loose threads romantically, there'll be another flavor of the month pokegirl who's long since replaced her by then.
Everything points towards them purposefully ignoring the elephant in the room and pretending it never happened, it's over.
