>>50148614Anyway I'm getting ahead of myself so let me just add that Serena starts off as the most attractive she has ever looked in any form and then does it again when prepares for the show because she's just that good, and as far as I'm concerned gamerenafags should be blessed to bask in our glory.
Okay so let me get into the meat of it for whoever gives a fuck, I'm doing this more for me anyway so eat shit. Let's skip by some quick notes: Chloe? Uoooh. Love her and her tummy, I am invested now, she's the perfect character for a Serena return, and their friendship is heartwarming because of how adorably sweet they both are. ORAS bitch was actually likeable and kinda kek, I'm a fan. But I'm not playing those fucking remakes. Anyway all the scenes that felt like throwbacks to the /padt/ tripokalon memefest felt super cozy, and it made me want more idol sluts to fawn over. It also leads into one of my absolute favorite moments in the episode, which is hearing how lovingly our girl calls out to Koharu and reassures her to trust in Eevee, who is at this point basically just Serena talking to her younger self. Almost seems like going out of their way to bend Chloe's character to benefit Serena; I don't know, my viewing of Journeys is fragmented to hell and largely missing the second half so far. But not complaining, just saying it's awesome it seemed they were going out of their way to please us by using Chloe/Koharu/fuckoff as a vehicle to make Serena look extra competent, in which case allow me to state the correct position to have which is that I don't mind one bit, in fact it's based. Also based is the VA here who deserves every bit of her paycheck because my heart, and also because I was easily convinced Serena had made some serious progress just from the tone. Yeah sure, it had been spelled out for us at the park and in the dressing room, but I felt it here. Anyway then we take a dive and get to the actual contest performances and they've been nerfed to hell.
