I think BW.
I played the original religiously as a kid, then HGSS, kinda fell out of mons with ORAS. But I do remember buying BW. I don't remember anything from it though.

Because it's bad. Having played HGSS and BW, you will notice that, aside from graphic evolution and QoL features, which occur in all generations, you will feel the game lacking in basic aspects. This will be even worse if you play any other games, since you will have other modern games to compare it to

I'd suggest you to get PLA instead (or play with Yuzu whatever) and then wait to see what you think from SV

They're not bad experiences if you enjoy them for what they're worth. Chain-fishing means successive Pokemon of the same results in shinies a lot easier. Graphically the game is fun. There's nice variance of Pokemon. The only downside is its community isn't booming anymore

I'd say the worst part about it is that they didn't balance the trainer levels well compared to new exp system so you end up over leveled.

SM/USUM has many more lolis, but they won't look as good because the 3DS is a heaping pile of shit. The switch is marginally better and should let you see cunny in high res but the number of lolis is way down unfortunately. You also get some really slutty outfits if you pick the girl character (also worn by one of the hebe rival characters).

I would but my switch is too new. No luck yet. I checked the site where you can see whether your model number is patchable or not , and mine isn't.
Also I'm not sure how it would affect online. I do play the Mario kart weekends on /v/ a lot.

I'll give you a real answer.

You should play it, but please do not buy it firsthand. Either borrow it from your friend or buy secondhand.
You said your last game was BW, and I think you'll find SWSH is nothing like that. It's a smaller, more barebones experience than every previous game, with decent presentation and some good competitive QoL. But from a purely singleplayer angle, I think it is one of the worst games in the series

Bottom line, play it if you want, even just to understand why it falls short, but don't give GameFreak money for it

the QoL is really good but everything else is pretty shit desu. Unless you like competitive battling, which has been made fairly easy to train and breed for, it is an entirely straight line through an anime theme park with bad music.
