Been a fan of the series for 16 years, this might be my favorite Kirby game yet. The sovl levels are off the charts, you can tell the devs put a lot of passion into the game. It's a different concept from every other Kirby game including 64. You run through a level with the option to acquire skills and fight your way till the end, sure, but each section in the level encourages you to explore, solve puzzles, exploit specific skills, or maybe they just through a different form of challenge each time. Some of the most fun I've had in a long time.

Only on the second world, but it’s great so far. Visually appealing, controls are perfect and the game rewards exploration. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfy platforming game.

star allies was a bit of a stumble, but yeah Kirby is a much better series of baby games.

Sure, it's made for beginners but its not patronizing to its players like Pokemon is.

It's very good, definitely in the upper echelon of Kirby games. Copy abilities are fun, and the upgrade system makes the usual shitters like Fire immensely satisfying to use.
Also, frame drops for BG characters aside, it absolutely fucking mogs pokemon visually lol.

Finally, Sillydillo best boi.

Easily another contender for best Kirby game. Translated perfectly to 3D and the level design is really strong and the bosses get decently challenging. Other favs of mine are Kirby 64, Canvas Curse, and Super Star for reference.

I wish Pokemon took a page from Kirby's book when it came to making threats really feel crazy.
The final reveals and boss in Forgotten Lands was so fucking good.
Waddle Dees are very likely humans after they used the alien Fecto Forgo to leave Earth behind.
Forgo tries to merge with Elfilis to return to it's state as this Ultimate lifeform Fecto Elfilis
Fucking rips open a portal and tries to collide Popstar with Earth as a final "Fuck you"
Kirby fucking hits the isekai alien monster with truck-kun

I feel like quite a few of the plot beats of Forgotten Land were surprisingly a lot like the ultra games. That and Elfilis was coincidentally a lot like necrozma story, attack, and even imagery wise. It’s just that the plot was surrounded by everything else in Forgotten land hitting a home run instead of usum being usum. That and I doubt that a pokemon game will ever go in as hard considering how they’re usual low scale types of games.

No, the Dees were most likely Awoofies who the humans took to Popstar after becoming planet-hopping gods.
Them being humans themselves makes no sense.

The Woofies are evolved dogs just like the rest of the beast pack evolved from other animals due to the influence of Forgo.
They say that the humans used Forgo's power to leave Earth and entered "a land of dreams."
That's way too coincidental with how we've always known Pop Star as synonymous with "Dreamland". The Dees are referred to as native members of Dreamland, but given this new twist and how we haven't seen humans anywhere else (unless we count the fairies in CS), I don't see it being that far off to guess the Dees are what Humans became once they went to PopStar/Dreamland
